Welcome Back Message from the Superintendent

Dear Faculty, Staff, Students, and Families,

Welcome back! I hope your summer was filled with rest, fun, and time with family and friends. A new school year always brings fresh energy, and I am excited for all that 2025–2026 will bring for our school community.

Our faculty and staff will kick things off on Tuesday, September 2, 2025. We will spend time learning together and getting ready for the year ahead, and our teachers will also have the chance to make their classrooms warm and welcoming for our students.

On Thursday, September 4, 2025, our students return. That first day is one of my favorite times of the year. The energy, the smiles, and the excitement in the air remind us why we do what we do. We cannot wait to see you back in the hallways and classrooms, ready to begin another year of learning and growth.

I am looking forward to a year filled with learning, laughter, and plenty of new accomplishments. Together, let's make 2025-2026 a great year for our students and for our entire school family.

Thank you for your constant support and commitment. I am grateful to be starting another year with all of you. I especially want to thank our families for being such important partners in this work.

Warmly,

Joel E. Freer
Superintendent of Schools
