Dismissal Procedures

Car Riders: If your child will be a car rider, please inform the attendance office of the transportation change in advance. Be sure to include the specific date(s) the change will be in effect. 

Bus Riders: If your child requires a bus pass, the following information must be included in your request: 

  • Student’s full name
  • Teacher’s name
  • Date(s) the change will be in effect
  • Drop-off address
  • Name of the resident at the drop-off address
  • Bus letter (if known) 

Early Dismissal: If your child needs to leave early, a note/email should include:

  • Student’s full name
  • Teacher’s name
  • Date(s) the change will be in effect
  • Name of the person (I.D. required) signing out the student
  • Reason for early dismissal and time of departure
  • Doctor and dental notes are always appreciated and help us maintain accurate documentation

All requests can be made via email, phone call, or written note.

Dismissal Reminders

Car Rider Pick-Up: The person picking up a student must have a family tag number displayed on the dashboard. 

Any Dismissal Changes: Please notify the attendance office as early in the school day as possible, and no later than 1:30 PM on the day the change will occur. If you need to call later than this time, a reason must be provided, and it will be at the discretion of the attendance office to determine whether the early pickup is necessary. This will help ensure a smooth and efficient dismissal process while ensuring students are sent to the appropriate location.
