Highland Elementary School students celebrated a special milestone recently as they released nine painted lady butterflies after spending several weeks learning about the caterpillar life cycle.

The Highland Central School District has announced that Dr. Patrick Boyd will become Superintendent of Schools following Joel Freer’s retirement in August.
